PG COUNTY BASED Maryland Cannabis Dispensary
Mary & Main’s journey began with Hope Wiseman, a pioneering Black woman who first embraced cannabis during her college years to manage severe anxiety. Her experience was life-changing, providing critical relief when she needed it most.
When Hope returned home, she was confronted with the reality that many people in her community were being penalized for using the same plant that had helped her. In response, Hope and her mother, Dr. Octavia Wiseman, decided to create change.
Together, they envisioned a welcoming space where the community could safely access cannabis, learn about its benefits, and receive thoughtful support without judgment. That vision became Mary & Main, a family-owned, Black-owned dispensary rooted in Capitol Heights, Maryland.
Today, Mary & Main represents their dedication to community care, education, wellness, and equitable access. Located near Central Avenue, Addison Road Metro Station, Fairmount Heights, Coral Hills, and the greater Prince George’s County and DMV area, Mary & Main is more than a place to shop. It is a space built to make people feel informed, supported, and at home.

Mary & Main provides dedicated medical patient parking and an expedited medical patient line inside the dispensary. We also provide curbside pickup during designated hours for guests who may be unable to walk into the store.

03 How do I obtain my Medical Cannabis Card in Maryland?
To access medical products with a Maryland Medical Cannabis Card:
- Register with the state and pay the required fee.
- Find an approved certifying provider and receive a certification.
- Wait for approval and receive your Medical Cannabis Card.
- Visit Mary & Main to purchase medical products.
Once registration and certification are complete, you may visit our dispensary as a medical patient. Our team can also help answer general questions about preparing for your first visit.
Visit the Maryland medical program website04 Do I need a medical card to make a purchase?
No. As of July 1, 2023, adults age 21 and older may purchase from licensed Maryland dispensaries without a medical card.
Both medical and adult-use guests are welcome at Mary & Main. Medical patients receive priority service, while adult-use purchases are subject to the applicable state tax.
05 How much medical cannabis am I allowed to buy?
Your monthly medical allotment is determined through Maryland’s medical program. You can find your current allowance by logging into your Maryland OneStop account.
Your account will show the amount currently available to purchase. Please speak with your certifying provider if you have questions about your individual allotment.
06 How much can I buy as an adult-use customer?
Adult-use customers age 21 or older must present a government-issued photo ID at checkout. The listed personal-use purchase limits are:
- Up to 1.5 ounces of flower, including joints and pre-rolls.
- Up to 12 grams of concentrated products.
- Edible products totaling no more than 750 milligrams of THC.
Our team can help explain how different products count toward the purchase limits during your visit.
07 What can I expect during my first visit?
- Check-in: Present your government-issued ID so our receptionist can verify it.
- Transaction verification: You will be asked to present your ID again when beginning your transaction.
- Product selection: Browse the menu or speak with a budtender for recommendations.
- Checkout: Complete your purchase using one of our accepted payment options.
- Exit: Once your transaction is complete, you are all set.
Our team is available throughout your visit to answer questions and help make the experience comfortable.
08 What is your policy on returns and exchanges?
Due to the nature of the industry, Mary & Main generally does not accept returns or exchanges.
However, if you experience an issue with a product, please contact us. We will review the situation and do our best to help resolve legitimate product concerns.
09 What payment methods do you accept?
Mary & Main accepts the following payment options:
- Debit card: A $10 Roundup is charged for all debit cards and the change is tendered in cash.
- Credit card: A 5.9% transaction fee applies.
- Cash: Cash is accepted, and an ATM is available inside the dispensary.
- Dutchie Pay (recommended): Available as a cashless payment option.
Tap-to-pay and Apple Pay are not currently accepted.
